Common questions

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account, not from inside The Daily Rip. To cancel:

• iOS: Settings app → tap your name → Subscriptions → The Daily Rip → Cancel.
• Android: Play Store app → menu → Subscriptions → The Daily Rip → Cancel.

Your access continues until the end of the current paid period. No prorated refunds; you keep what you paid for.

How do I request a refund?

Refunds for Apple App Store purchases are handled at reportaproblem.apple.com. Refunds for Google Play purchases are handled at support.google.com/googleplay. Both Apple and Google control their own refund policies; we cannot process refunds directly.

How do I delete my account and data?

In the app, go to the Me tab → Profile → scroll to "Delete account". This permanently removes your profile, holdings, watchlist, photos, push tokens, and AI prompt history within 30 days. See our Privacy Policy for the full list.

Push notifications stopped working.

Open the app, go to Profile → Notification settings, and confirm push is enabled. Then on iOS: Settings → The Daily Rip → Notifications, and confirm system permission. If alerts still don't fire, email support@thedailyrip.app with your handle and we'll check your token registration.

The chart shows "Price unavailable" for one of my holdings.

This means we don't have a recent daily snapshot for that specific (card, grade) combination — usually because the card is brand-new, the grade is uncommon, or our ingest hasn't yet reached that bucket. We backfill new buckets daily; existing holdings populate within 24-48 hours.

I think a price is wrong.

Prices on the chart come from PriceCharting (daily snapshots) and eBay (real sold transactions). When the two disagree, the chart shows both sources separately — eBay is real, PriceCharting is a market estimate. If you believe both are wrong, email us with the card name + your evidence and we'll investigate.
